Using free expression with acrylic paints on a blank canvas or a ceramic tile or wood ornament- "in a paint swirl, drops, drips, splashes" type of process. This is also known as Acrylic Paint Pouring. I try to mimic things in nature as much as I can, or even the ocean.

I have been working in glass since 1986. I was initially awed by the beauty of stained glass as a living medium which changes throughout the day. I design and craft panels for the window as well as bowls and plates.

B H Ceramics Inc has been operating since 2020. As the artist/owner of the company I have been actively involved in cast ceramics since approximately 1968. I first learned cast ceramics at a small craft shop in Keystone, WV. During that period of time I assisted with classes for grade school and high school students in the local community. I became the Director for the Ceramics Shop at Eastern Associated Coal Camp and worked with campers and counselors teaching ceramics during the summer.

I am a mixed media artist with eclectic interests. My studio is part art laboratory, part disaster area. What goes into my experiments? Hand cut collage, altered photographs, acrylic paint, clay, found objects and ink. What comes out the other end? An assortment of boxes, journals, mixed media wall pieces, assemblages, cards and prints. 15% OF MY SALES ARE DONATED TO HEALTH CARE FOR THE HOMELESS.

I make high-fired stoneware pottery for home and kitchen. I use a series of glazes I make myself . The glazes are Turquoise Matte (turquoise to green), Wensu (blue), Tenmoku (dark brown), Moonpax (whitish-orange), Yellow Salt (yellow), and Shino (orange with carbon areas). Occasionally I have other glazes that I am experimenting with.

My work focuses on easy-to-wear, contemporary designs, using a variety of different materials and geometric shapes. Current work includes coiled wire necklaces with beads that I make from straight wire, pewter and stone necklaces and bracelets, kumihimo woven necklaces, multi-strand necklaces, beaded brick stitch woven earrings, shaped wire earrings, plus a large variety of other earrings. All earrings have sterling silver earwires. I also offer a bead restringing service.

I make colorful fused glass and chainmail jewelry and home decor. My work is all about color that will brighten your day and will have your friends asking, “Where did you get that? I want one too!”

I’m a self- taught jewelry artist. I started Cathy’s Custom Jewelry in 2003. My hand crafted designs are made using silver and gemstones. I select stones based on their shape, color and natural beauty which draw me in and encourage my senses. I use a number of different techniques and tools to mold and shape the metals and to create elements for my designs. I also use cast, purchased or reclaimed objects as part of my designs. Those elements help make each piece unique.

Crushed It! creates art from broken glass, memorabilia, and other unique items. Crushed and broken glass is used to form inspirational art. Upcycling is a green approach to keeping glass and other items out of our landfills. Crushed It! glass is 100% recycled. The glass is received as post-consumer glass bottles from various domestic sources, for example, colorful wine, beer and perfume bottles.

I create textile art for your home: pillows, table ware, and kitchen goods. I focus on sustainability and unique design, incorporating vintage and salvaged fabrics, natural dyes, and hand stitching.

I have been a woodcarver and cabinetmaker for nearly 50 years. Largely self-taught, I began relief carving as a hobby in school, and have since combined carving with traditional joinery to produce a variety of tables, desks, cabinets, boxes and mirror frames.
